PILE WRAP
Help protect your piling from marine borers by installing our pile wrap product. This product is a high density polyethylene material that is 60" wide and .030" thick. To determine how much pile wrap you need, calculate the circumference (diameter x 3.14) of each piling and add 6" for overlap. Remember that this will only provide you with one 60" band of protection around the pile, which is often enough in many shallow water areas. If you require additional coverage, then simply add additional 60" bands of wrap. We recommend installing the pile wrap using 1-1/4" stainless steel ring-shank roofing nails. For best results, nails should be installed every 2" along the seams. Our pile wrap is only available in black color because of its high UV rating.
