Protect Your Underwater Fish Light Wire
Slides Easily Over Underwater Wiring to Guard Against Fish Hooks and Hazardous Seafloor Conditions Such as Oyster Beds.
Underwater Fish Light lighting systems are built to handle demanding conditions, but certain heavily fished waterways across the country present a recurring issue: anglers accidentally snagging underwater light wires.
This heavy-duty protective sleeve—manufactured in the USA and available in lengths from 20 to 50 feet—slides easily over existing wiring to provide reliable protection in areas with frequent fishing activity or seafloors lined with sharp rocks, oyster beds, or other debris.
Customers may choose a short section to shield the wire near the bulb or select a longer length for broader coverage. A 50-foot section is offered at a significant discount for those wishing to protect the entire wire run.
Installation Note:
For nearly all installations, the light assembly should be positioned 1–3 inches above the weight. Keeping the light low in the water column protects it from boat propellers and delivers optimal performance in most waterways. Adding a short piece of this protective tubing between the light assembly and the weight provides additional defense against hooks catching the wire.
Lengths of the protective sleeve can be trimmed to meet exact requirements or combined for extended-length systems.
Orders that include wire shields will arrive with ties for securing the sleeve—one tie per foot of sleeve provided.
